Our goals are to continuously improve the playing condition and safety of the fields we use (Jason Lee MS, Lake Shore ES, Sacajawea ES, Eisenhower ES and Columbia River HS). Here are a few items to keep in mind when using any of the Vancouver School District fields.
1. Do Not Play on Weather Stressed Field Areas - Field areas with frozen turf, standing water or mud should be not be played on. Also try to move around your practices to avoid wear in one area (i.e. in the goal mouths).
2. Pick Up Any and All Trash - Be a courteous user of these fields by collecting and disposing of any trash in the area where you practice and play games.
3. Limited Weekly Play on Some Fields - With high school practices and games on the back fields our youth soccer club has decided to limit weekly play to preserve the field conditions for our weekend games. Please stay to your assigned practice fields, no matter how "green the grass looks" on other fields.
4. Secure the Facilities - Eisenhower Soccer Club is fortunate to have a concession stand and restroom facility at our Jason Lee game fields. It is important to keep this facility secure during non use hours. If no one is in attendance, all doors should be closed and locked. The team coach or manager can request access to the restrooms by contacting the ESC Board.
5. Goals In Place and Nets Up - Our Jason Lee MS fields will all have the goals and nets in place by mid to late August. The nets will be up all season. All goals should be anchored down for safety. If you see any unsafe conditions please report them to a board member.
6. Practice Field Assignment - Use the maps, schedules and contracts on this website to identify your practice field assignment. Print them out and have them with you to help avoid any conflicts.
